Oklahoma Arts Council Major Grant Support
Oklahoma Arts Council grants ensure individuals statewide have access to the arts. Approximately 80 percent of the OAC budget goes directly to Oklahoma communities in the form of grants, and 50 percent of grant funding supports the arts in rural areas. Communities throughout the state benefit from Council grants, which have a powerful multiplying effect, generating $8 for every $1 granted. Without Council support many arts programs in Oklahoma would not be possible.
